Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter is an American actor and producer who is well-known for her high-quality performance in movies such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. She has won many awards for her performance, including an Oscar. In her early years, the accomplished actress began playing on stage for a number of Broadway or Off Broadway productions. Since her school days she played Helen Keller in a play in the fifth grade. The fifth grade was the year that due to mumps, she lost her hearing in the left ear. She did not let that stop her. As a teenager She studied acting and eventually moved to New York City. Hunter was introduced to Beth Henley by chance in a lift. Together they composed Broadway Crimes of the Heart. The play was Hunter's first acting debut. Her first film role came after she relocated to Los Angeles. Her work spans over 30 years and she's appeared in a variety of TV films as well as series and films. Holly Hunter is a Hollywood Walk of Fame star as well as a winner of the Women in Film Lucy Award.
